The difference between Taiyo Yuden OEM & Taiyo Yuden Mastergrade discs.  Mastergrade discs are just about as good as it gets, with PI error rates below 0.2.  OEM grade discs are still very good, with PI error rates below 0.5.  These error rates equate to 1-2 failures per 500 discs burnt.  Of note, a typical brand disc would have a PI Error rate anywhere from 2.0-5.0.
